Students will do a PowerPoint Game.  They will learn how to set up the game, experiment with a table, learn how to do action settings and hyperlinks, change fonts and font colors of hyperlinks, and have a second chance to add music, backgrounds, slides, etc., that they learned in 6th grade. 

Students will learn some of the basics of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0.  Students will make a collage of themselves for display during Parent Teacher Conferences.  Students are required to use at least 7 Adobe tools during the making of the collage. They will write a story or poem to explain the collage.  Students who complete both the story and collage on time and meet the requirements will have theirs displayed.

Students will work in Microsoft Excel and learn how to enter data, sort data, insert and delete rows and columns, use simple formulas, functions, and make and manipulate charts.  There will be a comprehensive test at the end of this unit.

Students will do research, write a mini report, save pictures, sounds, music that goes with report.  Students will learn features of Windows Movie Maker and then put together a movie of their topic using Windows Movie Maker, Audacity, and perhaps Adobe Photoshop. 

These are the starter files that students can download and work on at home. They need a book with instructions in order to do so.
